Workflows & Automation

Put your lead follow-up on autopilot. A workflow watches for something to happen, then runs a series of steps for you — no code required.

How Workflows Work

Every workflow has two parts: a trigger that starts it, and one or more actions that run in order. For example: when a new lead arrives → wait one day → send a follow-up email.

Open Workflows in the sidebar. Click New Workflow to start from a ready-made template, or Builder to create one from scratch.

Triggers

Choose what starts the workflow:

ParameterTypeDescription
New LeadtriggerA new lead is added from any source
Status ChangetriggerA lead moves to a different pipeline stage
Tag AddedtriggerA specific tag is applied to a lead
Time BasedtriggerRuns on a schedule
ManualtriggerYou start it yourself on a lead

Actions

Add as many steps as you need. Available actions include:

ParameterTypeDescription
Send EmailactionSend an email to the lead
Update StatusactionMove the lead to another pipeline stage
Add TagactionTag the lead for grouping or to trigger other workflows
WaitactionPause for a set time before the next step
ConditionactionBranch the workflow based on the lead's details
NotifyactionSend yourself or your team a notification
Web RequestactionSend lead data to another tool

Once you've connected X (Twitter), you can also add social steps — post a tweet, send a direct message, follow, or like a post. See X / Twitter Automation.

Building a Workflow

  1. Go to Workflows in the sidebar.
  2. Click New Workflow and pick a template, or click Builder to start from a blank canvas.
  3. Choose a trigger, then add your action steps in the order they should run.
  4. Save and enable the workflow — it runs automatically from then on.
